Hidden Worlds: Beyond the Obvious

Photography-based digital art, painting, drawing and sculpture reveal layers of nature, memory, identity and symbolism that often remain beneath the surface. The opening reception takes place Saturday, August 15 at Gato Gordo Gallery in Liberty City. The exhibition marks the first joint presentation at the gallery by its founders, Inna Malostovker and Oscar Esteban Martínez.

Through distinct but interconnected practices, the artists examine how personal experience, visual symbols and the natural world can hold meanings that are not immediately visible. Hidden Worlds: Beyond the Obvious invites viewers to look closely at familiar forms and consider what may exist beyond their first impression.
