Hip Hop History Month with PATH

The rhythm, poetry and pulse of hip hop take center stage as PATH and the Museum of Graffiti celebrate Hip Hop History Month at the Art of Hip Hop in Miami.

This hands-on workshop invites participants of all ages to step into the cypher and experience the creative process behind the mic. Led by PATH Artists-in-Residence Mecca aka Grimo and 8ch2Owens of Vice City Cypher, guests will explore emcee techniques inspired by Kool Moe Dee’s There’s a God on the Mic, collaborate on original verses, and record a themed posse track on-site with PATH engineer Simbo Lumin.

From freestyle sessions to live recording, this interactive event offers an authentic look at hip hop as both art and community. Celebrate the culture, sharpen your craft and honor the movement that continues to shape music and self-expression worldwide.
