Ile Aiye at Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival

A fusion of rhythm, resistance and cultural pride comes to the Miami Beach Bandshell as the legendary Afro-Brazilian group Ilê Aiyê takes the stage with its signature blend of drums, dance and history.
Part of the Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival, Ilê Aiyê takes center stage on Saturday, September 6. Founded in 1974 in Salvador, Bahia, Ilê Aiyê is considered the original Afrobloco and has played a vital role in celebrating Afro-Brazilian identity through music, costume and performance. With over 20 performers, the ensemble brings the sound and spirit of Bahian carnival to Miami Beach as part of a rare U.S. tour.
The event also includes a screening of Brazilian Beats II and a live set by Brazilian singer Baia, along with appearances by special guests.
