International Ballet Festival: Contemporary Performance

International contemporary dance takes the stage at The Moss Center as part of the annual International Ballet Festival Miami. International Ballet Festival Miami: Contemporary Performance takes place Saturday, August 8.

Now in its 31st year, the festival presents classical and contemporary ballet programs at venues across Miami and Miami Beach. This performance focuses on contemporary dance, featuring works by companies from Europe, South America and the United States.

The program offers audiences a look at current approaches to ballet and concert dance, with choreography shaped by international perspectives, athletic movement and evolving interpretations of the form. It is one of seven performances presented during this year’s festival lineup.
