International Children's Day

Arts, games and live theater bring families together for International Children’s Day at the Koubek Center. Presented in partnership with Teatro Avante and Miami-Dade County Auditorium, the event is part of the 39th International Hispanic Theatre Festival.
International Children’s Day 2025 takes place Sunday, September 21 at the Koubek Center. The free program features workshops in painting, puppetry, dance and percussion, face painting, carnival games and stilt-walking entertainment. Two performances of Comicópicos will be presented at 3 and 5 p.m. This event is part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s Away From Home Series, held at alternative venues while the auditorium is temporarily closed for renovations. Space is limited.
