International Children's Day

Arts, games and live theater bring families together for International Children’s Day at the Koubek Center. Presented in partnership with Teatro Avante and Miami-Dade County Auditorium, the event is part of the 39th International Hispanic Theatre Festival.

International Children’s Day 2025 takes place Sunday, September 21 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Koubek Center. The free program features workshops in painting, puppetry, dance and percussion, face painting, carnival games and stilt-walking entertainment. Two performances of Comicópicos will be presented at 3 and 5 p.m. This event is part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s Away From Home Series, held at alternative venues while the auditorium is temporarily closed for renovations. Space is limited.
