Invisible Dialogues: Opening Reception
Jun 13, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Abstract works by Sara Schesser Bartra and Jamir Eduardo Guiza Beltran explore what lies beyond immediate perception, from microscopic structures to intuitive states of consciousness. The opening reception for Invisible Dialogues takes place Saturday, June 13, at Gato Gordo Gallery. The exhibition brings together two artists whose different approaches to abstraction create a conversation between science, gesture and unseen forms of experience.
Schesser Bartra, a former molecular biologist, draws on biological systems and microscopic ecosystems to create vibrant abstract compositions rooted in the natural world. Guiza Beltran, a Colombian visual artist and former director of the Museum of Art of Tolima, approaches abstraction through gesture, atmosphere and emotional expression.
The reception includes a live painting performance by Guiza Beltran, giving visitors a view into the artist’s process as he creates a new work in real time. Refreshments will be available during the evening.
