Mar 14, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
Two of Latin music’s most influential voices share the stage for an evening centered on reggaetón and salsa classics. Ivy Queen and La India bring their distinct styles and decades of chart-topping material to the James L. Knight Center for a co-headlining concert that highlights their impact on contemporary Latin music.
Often referred to as the “Queen of Reggaetón,” Puerto Rican artist Ivy Queen helped shape the genre’s global rise in the late 1990s and early 2000s with tracks such as “Quiero Bailar,” “Yo Quiero Saber” and “La Vida es Así.” Known for her commanding delivery and themes of female empowerment, she remains one of the most recognizable figures in urban Latin music. Sharing the bill is La India, the Grammy-nominated “Princess of Salsa,” whose powerful vocals and collaborations with producer Sergio George propelled hits like “Ese Hombre,” “Mi Mayor Venganza” and “Vivir lo Nuestro” into the Latin music canon.
The concert takes place on Saturday, March 14. The James L. Knight Center's theater configuration offers clear sightlines and acoustics suited for large-scale live performances, providing an intimate setting for an arena-caliber lineup. Audiences can expect a setlist that spans reggaetón anthems and salsa standards, reflecting the artists’ enduring influence across generations.
