Jazz Encounters: Zachary Bartholomew

Catch an evening of live jazz with acclaimed pianist and composer Zachary Bartholomew in an intimate setting at WDNA’s Jazz Encounters series. Known for his dynamic performance style and deep commitment to jazz education, Bartholomew brings his signature blend of technical precision and expressive energy to the stage.

A fixture on Florida’s jazz scene, Bartholomew has performed at major festivals including Jacksonville, Monterey and Festival Miami, and recently released his debut album Balancing Act, which debuted on both the JazzWeek and NACC Jazz Charts. He currently teaches at Florida Memorial University and tours statewide through his Jazz Access Tour outreach program.

Hosted at WDNA FM, Jazz Encounters offers a welcoming space for audiences to connect with world-class musicians in a relaxed, listening-focused environment. Following the concert, the night continues with an open jam session, inviting fellow musicians to join in and keep the creative energy flowing.

General admission is $40, with discounted tickets available for WDNA members ($30) and free entry for students with valid ID. Proceeds benefit WDNA 88.9FM and its ongoing support of Miami’s jazz community.
