Just for Me: Planetary Wonders

Adjusted lighting, reduced sound levels and hands-on activities create a more comfortable museum experience for visitors with diverse sensory and accessibility needs. The program takes place Saturday, September 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. Families can explore exhibitions at their own pace in a quieter, more accepting environment while connecting with others and sharing resources.

The featured Planetary Wonders activation invites guests to investigate the textures, colors and sensations associated with other planets through tactile and interactive activities. Participants will also consider the conditions that make Earth especially suited to support life. A social narrative is available in advance to help families prepare for their visit.
