LHCC Miami Art Week
Dec 01, 2025 - Dec 07, 2025
Multiple event times
A weeklong program of exhibitions and cultural events brings focus to immigrant narratives and creative resilience at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex.
LHCC Miami Art Week, running December 1–7, highlights the theme Kreyol Artivist: Alien Status, a multi-exhibition exploration of what it means to create while navigating the realities of immigration in the United States. Inspired by Edwidge Danticat’s memoir Create Dangerously, the Cultural Complex presents four exhibitions that examine belonging, displacement, identity and the act of making art across borders. Throughout the week, artists reflect on the tension between forging a home in a new place and maintaining ties to the lands they left behind.
Daily activations extend the conversation into music, performance, fashion, film and community gatherings, positioning LHCC as a space for dialogue and cultural exchange during Miami Art Week.
