Apr 18, 2026
From: 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM
A live presentation by NASA astronaut Nicole Stott brings firsthand insights from space exploration to the Frost Planetarium. Taking place Saturday, April 18, the talk opens the Frost Science STEM Challenge Expo and highlights the experiences of a veteran astronaut, artist and author.
Stott will share stories from her time aboard the International Space Station, where she spent a total of 104 days across two missions. Her work included conducting scientific research in microgravity and performing a spacewalk while orbiting Earth, offering audiences a perspective on both the technical and human aspects of space travel.
The presentation also marks the culmination of the Frost Science STEM Challenge, an engineering design program for middle and high school students across South Florida. Held inside the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science’s planetarium, the program is included with museum admission and offers limited, first-come seating.
