Voice, meditation and cinematic soundscapes come together in an immersive concert by Mei-lan and Ali at the Miami Beach Bandshell. The performance takes place Thursday, October 1, bringing the duo’s contemplative music to the open-air Miami Beach venue. The program will feature familiar pieces along with new music, creating a setting centered on listening, stillness and shared reflection.

Mei-lan Maurits is known for vocal performances, sound healing music and meditative recordings that use layered voice and sustained tones to create a calming, atmospheric sound. Her collaboration with Ali Pervez Mehdi expands that approach through cinematic textures and devotional influences, including work heard on their album Reverence.
