Miami-Dade County Pride Month Kick-Off

Miami-Dade County marks the start of Pride Month with a public gathering at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center. The Miami-Dade County Pride Month Kick-Off takes place Wednesday, June 3 at noon in the building’s lobby. The event is part of the Week of Pride, a first-week Pride Month lineup developed with the Cities of Miami and Miami Beach.

While full details for this year’s program have not yet been released, the annual kickoff traditionally brings together county leaders, community members and LGBTQIA advocates for a celebration of visibility, inclusion and civic recognition. Past editions have included guest speakers, live entertainment and cultural displays highlighting LGBTQIA history and the work of local queer communities and allies.
