Miami Vice Week: Car & Fashion Show

Ocean Drive, one of Miami Vice’s most iconic filming locations, transforms into a tribute to 1980s style with a daytime celebration of cars, fashion and nostalgia as part of Miami Vice Week. Vintage vehicles set the scene during an ‘80s car show, followed by a fashion presentation evoking the pastel tones and sleek silhouettes that defined the era.

The schedule includes an ‘80s car show from 12:30 to 3 p.m., a fashion show from 3 to 4 p.m., and a Mayor’s ceremony from 4 to 6 p.m. Presented with the support of the City of Miami Beach Mayor’s Office and the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority, the event takes place Wednesday, September 10.

While not an official Miami Vice production, the Miami Vice Week: Car & Fashion Show is part of the 41st anniversary fan celebration taking place September 9–14 across Miami and Miami Beach. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural anniversary gathering, this year’s program expands the festivities with new events and community recognition.
