Pet lovers and their four-legged friends can enjoy a day of play, learning and community connection at Tropical Park during the first-ever Miami’s Pup Carnival, a new event celebrating pets, sustainability and local engagement.
From 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., visitors can explore the Pup Plaza featuring local vendors, giveaways and community partners; join the Treat Sweep scavenger hunt; or stop by the Zero Waste Zone to swap, upcycle and donate gently used pet gear. Families can also meet adoptable dogs aboard the HOPE Express mobile shelter, grab bites from food trucks, and take part in contests such as the Pup Strut Lookalike Competition and Pup Trivia Challenge.
Presented by Miami-Dade County’s Office of Environmental Risk & Resilience and Animal Services Department, in partnership with Debris Free Oceans, Miami’s Pup Carnival takes place Sunday, November 9 at Tropical Park. The event highlights responsible pet ownership and eco-friendly living through hands-on activities and educational experiences. Admission is free, and all well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.
