Chaos takes over Room 207 when the kind and patient Miss Nelson suddenly disappears, leaving her unruly students to face the mysterious and strict Viola Swamp. As homework piles up and discipline sets in, the class begins to understand the value of their original teacher—and sets out to find her before it’s too late.
Miss Nelson is Missing runs January 15–February 28 and March 31–April 24, 2026, at Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre. Adapted by Joan Cushing from the popular books by Harry Allard and James Marshall, this lively musical comedy is ideal for young audiences and families. Saturday performances are held at 2:00 p.m. (excluding April 18), with a sensory-inclusive show on Sunday, January 25 and weekday matinees available for school field trips at 10:30 a.m. Single tickets go on sale August 1.
