Mochakk vs Barry Can't Swim & INVT

Brazilian house, jazz-inflected dance music and Miami-bred bass rhythms converge at Club Space Miami with Mochakk, Barry Can’t Swim and INVT. The 21-and-over event takes place Wednesday, June 24, with music beginning at 11 p.m. The lineup brings together three contemporary electronic acts whose sets move across house, club music, livewire percussion and groove-forward production.

Mochakk, the project of Brazilian DJ and producer Pedro Maia, has built an international following with high-energy sets rooted in house music and a performance style shaped by hip-hop, skating culture and club production. Barry Can’t Swim, an Edinburgh-born and London-based producer, brings a melodic approach to electronic music, drawing on jazz, piano-led house and global samples in releases for labels such as Shall Not Fade and Ninja Tune.

Miami duo INVT add a local perspective to the lineup, blending dub influences, Latin-rooted percussion, swung rhythms and sound system culture. Known for DJ sets, live hardware performances and a large self-released catalog, the pair have performed at venues and parties including Club Space, Fabric, Panorama Bar, DC-10 and Nowadays.
