North Beach Social: The Navikaran Quartet takes place Thursday, November 20 at the Miami Beach Bandshell. Led by tabla master Rajesh Bhandari, the quartet blends classical Indian music with electronic effects and modern textures. Ensemble members include Pratyush Goberdhan on violin and sarangi, Kanada Narahari on sitar and surbahar, and Keshav Nelavai on mridangam. The group’s name—Navikaran, meaning renewal—reflects their commitment to innovation within tradition.
