Nutcracker Magic

A family-focused holiday celebration combines hands-on activities with an exclusive look at Miami City Ballet’s staging of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®.

Nutcracker Magic at the Adrienne Arsht Center begins with a gingerbread-themed party from 4 to 5:30 p.m., where children can decorate gingerbread houses, enjoy treats, meet characters from The Nutcracker and take part in crafts, dancing and other interactive activities. The evening continues with access to the private dress rehearsal of the Ballet’s 2025 production, giving families a behind-the-scenes view of the seasonal classic with its snow-filled scenes, dancing flowers and Tchaikovsky’s score.

This annual fundraiser supports Miami City Ballet’s community engagement programs, helping provide performances for Title I schools, local service organizations and under-resourced communities. The event takes place on Thursday, December 11.
