One City. Seven Visions.
Sep 12, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Seven contemporary artists from Pasto, Colombia, bring distinct perspectives on place, heritage and identity to a group exhibition marking Hispanic Heritage Month at Gato Gordo Gallery. One City. Seven Visions. opens Saturday, September 12, bringing together painting, mixed media, surrealist approaches and culturally rooted practices by artists at different stages of their careers.
The exhibition looks to Pasto, a city known internationally for its Carnival of Blacks and Whites, as a shared point of departure while emphasizing the variety of artistic languages that can emerge from a single cultural landscape. The works offer Miami audiences a multifaceted view of Colombian creativity while drawing connections between regional identity and the city’s broader multicultural arts community.
One City. Seven Visions. remains on view through September 25.
