Spanning four floors, the installation marks the artist’s first major commission in the Miami Design District, inviting viewers to experience space through a lens where architectural scale and imaginative forms intersect.
Opening for Ad Minoliti: Pink Spatial Microbiota takes place Friday, September 26 in the Miami Design District’s Buick Building. The evening includes a reception and a conversation with the artist. Attendance is limited and RSVP is required.
Ad Minoliti (b. 1980, Buenos Aires) is an Argentinian artist whose practice combines painting, installation, textiles and design to explore queer and feminist perspectives on abstraction. Known for vibrant geometric compositions that blur the boundaries between art, architecture and play, their work has been exhibited internationally, including at the 2019 Venice Biennale. Minoliti’s pieces are held in major collections such as Pérez Art Museum Miami, reflecting a career that bridges Latin American and global contemporary art.
