Experience a night of iconic Manchester sounds as two Florida-based tribute bands bring the music of The Smiths, Morrissey, Joy Division and New Order to life.
On Saturday, August 23, Gramps Wynwood presents Ordinary Boys + New Dawn Fades. Ordinary Boys, formed in Miami in 2010, is Florida's only tribute act dedicated to The Smiths and Morrissey. Led by vocalist AJ Navarrete, the band meticulously recreates the sound of their Manchester heroes, performing cult favorites like "This Charming Man," "How Soon is Now?" and "Suedehead". Joining them is New Dawn Fades, a tribute band honoring the legacy of Joy Division and New Order, delivering renditions of tracks that defined the post-punk and new wave eras.
Doors open at 8 p.m., with music starting at 9 p.m. The event is for ages 21 and over. Tickets are priced at $15 for the first wave, $20 for the second wave and $25 for the third wave.
