Painted Blooms for Mom
May 10, 2026
From: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
A Mother’s Day art activity at Vizcaya Village invites participants to create floral-inspired paintings and collages during the weekly farmers market. Taking place Sunday, May 10, Painted Blooms for Mom is led by Miami-based artist Annick Duvivier and designed for all skill levels.
Participants will build a personalized flower bouquet on canvas using painting, cut paper and layered collage techniques. All materials are provided, and the finished piece can serve as a handmade gift or keepsake for the holiday.
Duvivier, a Haitian-born mixed media artist based in Miami, often explores themes of nature, femininity and conservation in her work. The free activity is offered on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The Vizcaya Village Farmers Market is open the same day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; this activity does not include access to Vizcaya’s Main House or formal gardens.
