Celebrate Earth Day with family-friendly activities centered around gardening, sustainability and outdoor enjoyment in a botanical oasis. Picnic at the Garden, scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, offers an engaging morning of nature-based experiences hosted by Jordan's Garden. Participants can take part in hands-on activities including salad preparation, seed bomb construction, creative coloring, natural playdough-making and interactive gardening games.
The event encourages families to embrace the spring weather by bringing their own mats and picnic baskets filled with healthy snacks to enjoy amid the garden's lush surroundings. Children over two years old are welcome to participate in all activities with a purchased ticket. Family admission packages are available at $35 for two adults and two children, with additional children's tickets priced at $10 each. Optional planting kits can be purchased separately for families wishing to continue their gardening experience at home.
