Doors open: 7:00 PM | Show starts: 8:00 PM
Poolside brings its relaxed “daytime disco” sound to the Miami Beach Bandshell for an evening of nu-disco, chillwave and smooth electronic grooves. The concert takes place Friday, July 10 as part of Rhythm of the Cup, the Bandshell’s FIFA World Cup-related series of concerts and community events. Presented by GMP Live and Dayglow, the performance features the Los Angeles project in its current live-band form.
Founded in 2011 by Jeffrey Paradise and Filip Nikolic, Poolside became known for breezy, disco-influenced tracks built around warm vocals, laid-back rhythms and polished electronic textures. The project’s early releases, including “Do You Believe” and its cover of Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon,” helped define its sunlit, lounge-forward sound.
Poolside has since performed at festivals including Coachella, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza and Primavera Sound. Now led by Paradise with a touring lineup of veteran indie rock and electronic musicians, the band continues to expand its sound through albums such as Pacific Standard Time, Low Season, High Season and Blame It All On Love.
