Proyecto Gratitud: Picnic en Patch

Set within the tranquil landscape of Patch of Heaven Sanctuary in Miami Beach, Proyecto Gratitud: Picnic en Patch offers a restorative half-day dedicated to mindfulness, reflection and the science of gratitude.

Taking place Sunday, November 16, this Spanish-language experience invites participants to explore how gratitude can strengthen resilience, optimism and well-being. Led by Suzanne Jewell, Chief Experience Officer of Patch of Heaven Sanctuary, the program combines guided nature meditation, a silent forest walk, gratitude journaling and discussions on how gratitude supports personal growth and collective harmony.

Guests will enjoy a picnic featuring artisan bread, olive oil, hummus and fruit while connecting with nature across 20 acres of lotus ponds and preserved forest. Designed as both a reflective retreat and a communal gathering, the event celebrates Mes Nacional de la Gratitud and the power of simple, mindful practices to nurture joy and resilience.
