A singular voice that helped define modern Spanish-language pop returns to the Miami stage with a career-spanning live performance shaped by drama, precision and unmistakable presence. Raphael brings his Raphaelísimo 2026 Tour to downtown Miami, continuing a legacy built on theatrical delivery and emotional intensity.
Born Rafael Martos in Linares, Spain, Raphael rose to international prominence in the 1960s and became one of the first Spanish artists to achieve sustained global success. Over more than six decades, he has released dozens of albums, sold millions of records worldwide and expanded the expressive range of the Spanish ballad through his commanding vocal style and interpretive flair. His catalog includes enduring classics such as “Yo soy aquél,” “Digan lo que digan” and “Como yo te amo,” songs that remain touchstones across generations of listeners. In recent years, Raphael has continued to tour internationally while introducing new material that reflects his ongoing artistic evolution.
Raphael performs Friday, May 8 at 8 p.m. at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami, offering an evening that bridges legacy and renewal through one of the most influential voices in Spanish-language music.
