Roo’s Family Fest

A day of hands-on activities and interactive learning invites families with young children to explore creativity and play at the Coral Gables Museum. Roo’s Family Fest takes place Saturday, April 11 during the museum’s Family Day.

Designed for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, the free festival transforms the museum into a series of activity zones focused on early childhood development. Families can explore sensory stations, art workshops, storytime sessions with local authors, dance and yoga classes, cooking demonstrations and interactive educational exhibits.

Organized by the Coral Gables Museum in collaboration with Kids L.A.B. Therapy, Florida International University and other community partners, the event connects caregivers with educational resources and expert-led activities that support cognitive, social and motor development. Live music performances, surprise entertainment and opportunities to engage with local organizations and child-focused businesses round out the family-friendly program.
