Salsaholics: Represent Your Flag

Salsa dancers can celebrate international pride on the dance floor during a late-night social at DanceArts Miami. Salsaholics: Represent Your Flag takes place Saturday, June 20, inviting guests to wear their country’s colors, jerseys or flag-inspired attire.

Presented by Miami Salsa Events, the evening begins with an all-levels On2 salsa class led by Cindy Guzman at 9 p.m. The program also includes performances by Ritmo Dance Studio, Las Diosas, Aaron Raspler, Planeta Dance Company, Bachata Xtreme and Las Zabaleras.

The event features two dance rooms throughout the night. The salsa room includes music by DJ Mike Calderon with live percussion from Eduardo Cano on congas and Sasha Rodriguez on timbales, while the bachata room is hosted by Pantea Hearts and Party People. Advance admission is $20 through June 19 and admission at the door is $25.
