Salute to Service: Memorial Day at the Park

Fruit & Spice Park honors those who serve with a day of exploration, learning and gratitude in a lush tropical setting.

Salute to Service: Memorial Day at the Park, taking place Monday, May 25, offers free admission for active-duty military members and veterans in recognition of their service. Visitors can enjoy guided tram tours at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., highlighting the park’s global collection of fruits, herbs and spices.

Guests may also join a Tasting Tour at 12 p.m. or 3 p.m., featuring seasonal fruit samples from around the world. The tasting tour is $15 for adults (ages 12+) and $8 for children; reservations are required by calling 305-247-5727.

Surrounded by 37 acres of tropical beauty, this special Memorial Day celebration blends appreciation, discovery and connection to nature.
