September Exhibitions Opening at The CAMP Gallery

Two exhibitions exploring self-reflection, accountability and communal care open concurrently at The CAMP Gallery in North Miami. The opening reception takes place Friday, September 4, introducing In Need of Temperance and Social Proof of Care, which remain on view through October 3. Exhibiting artists Amy Putman and Monica Czukerberg are scheduled to attend the opening.
Presented in gallery space 793, In Need of Temperance brings together work by Katie Davis, Amanda K. Walker and Monica Czukerberg. Across varied media, the group exhibition considers excess, imbalance and the role of self-reflection in moving toward greater intentionality and accountability.
In gallery space 791, Social Proof of Care features Amy Putman and Mabelin Castellanos. Drawing on the material qualities and historical associations of textiles, the exhibition examines mutual dependence, collective support and the ways care can take shape within community.
