The underground music scene of the late 2000s comes roaring back to life in Wynwood arts district. Sleaze Freaks: An Indie Sleaze Dance Party takes over Gramps on Saturday, March 15 from 7 p.m. to midnight, celebrating the era's distinctive sound and style.
DJ Miss Purple Shampoo will be on the decks delivering defining tracks of the indie sleaze movement, featuring the raw energy of The Strokes, the electric intensity of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the dance-punk rhythms of LCD Soundsystem. The curated playlist spans from electroclash to alt rock.
Located in the heart of Wynwood, this 21+ event transforms Gramps into a nostalgic haven for fans of the genre. The celebration continues beyond midnight, as Gramps' resident DJs extend the party until 3 a.m.
