Solange Merdinian & Friends
Jun 14, 2026
Starting: 5:00 PM
Operatic vocals and chamber-inspired arrangements come to Lummus Park for a free outdoor concert along Ocean Drive. The performance takes place Sunday, June 14 as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series in Miami Beach. Presented by the Ocean Drive Association, the weekly series invites guests to bring a blanket, lawn chair or picnic for an early evening concert on the lawn.
Born in Argentina and trained at The Juilliard School and Bard College Conservatory, Solange Merdinian has performed at major venues including Carnegie Hall and has toured with the Philip Glass Ensemble. Her work has also included performances connected to the United Nations General Assembly and the soundtrack for The Hundred-Foot Journey. Since moving to Miami, she has remained active in the local classical music community through performances at venues such as Sanctuary of the Arts, Coral Gables Congregational Church, Coral Gables Museum and the University of Miami.
The concert takes place in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. In case of rain, the performance moves indoors to The Betsy Hotel. The series is underwritten by the City of Miami Beach, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Ocean Drive Association.
