STAMPED is a Miami party founded by Cameroon-born DJ Leslie “Aya” Ayafor, who created the series to highlight African music in a dedicated setting rather than blending it into broader Afro-Caribbean or diaspora nightlife formats. According to background included with the event materials, the party launched in 2023 and has become known for centering “sounds from the continent,” with sets that move through Afrobeats, amapiano and related African genres.
The rooftop edition brings that concept to a pool-party format at Arlo Wynwood, pairing DJ sets with sunset views and a community-minded code of conduct focused on consent, respect and inclusion. Tickets are expected to cost more at the door.
