Storytime: Westofchester’s ABCs of Miami

Young readers can discover Miami's landmarks and culture through playful illustrations and bilingual storytelling during an interactive afternoon of poetry and art. Westofchester's ABCs of Miami Storytime takes place on Wednesday, April 23, at the Doral Cultural Arts Center. Part of O, Miami Poetry Festival's event lineup, the program features a reading of O, Miami's first children's book by artist and illustrator Melissa Gutierrez, followed by a hands-on art activity inspired by the book's vibrant depictions of local landmarks from A to Z. While this National Poetry Month celebration is free to attend, advance registration is required due to limited space. Complimentary parking is available at the Doral Government Center Garage until 9:00 p.m.
