Summer Series: MIMI Chinese x Uchi Miami takes place Monday, August 11 at Uchi’s Wynwood location, featuring a multi-course menu created by Executive Chef Braden Chong of MIMI Chinese alongside Uchi Miami’s culinary team. Inspired by the spirit of New York’s iconic Wo Hop, the dinner blends MIMI’s bold regional Chinese flavors with Uchi’s refined approach to Japanese cuisine.
Chef Chong, a Toronto native with experience in Michelin-starred kitchens in Tokyo and Kyoto, is known for his thoughtful reinterpretations of Chinese dishes rooted in heritage and elevated through technique.
