Sunday Stories: Prince & Knight

A story about love, bravery and inclusion becomes the starting point for a hands-on art activity at MOCA North Miami. Sunday Stories: Prince & Knight takes place Sunday, June 7, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami. Designed for young children and their caregivers, the free program pairs live story time with an early childhood art project inspired by Daniel Haack’s picture book.

After the reading, children will create celebration shields using colors, symbols and images that reflect who they are and what courage means to them. The activity invites families to explore identity, inclusivity and the many ways people express love and care.

Sunday Stories is MOCA’s monthly program for children ages 1-5 and a caregiver, held on the first Sunday of each month. Families attending this session will receive a free copy of Prince & Knight, courtesy of The Books & Books Literary Foundation.
