Sushi Making Class at Blade

Guests can learn the fundamentals of sushi-making during a hands-on class at Blade, Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s Japanese restaurant and sushi counter. Offered every Saturday through August 15, the class guides participants through the process of preparing sushi rolls from start to finish.
Led by a sushi chef, the session covers essential techniques for assembling, rolling and presenting sushi in a relaxed instructional setting. The class is suited to both beginners and sushi enthusiasts looking to build skills they can use at home.
Blade’s menu focuses on light, seafood-driven dishes, from specialty rolls and tempura to ramen, pork buns and sake selections. Each class includes a complimentary glass of sake or a soft drink, and attendees receive discounted valet parking at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The series is open to guests ages 12 and older; guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
