Sweely & Tomas Station

House, minimal techno and deep electronic grooves anchor a late-night lineup at Jolene Sound Room Miami. Sweely & Tomas Station takes place Sunday, July 5 in the Downtown Miami venue, with sets by Sweely, Tomas Station and Gio Elia back-to-back with Jonny From Space. Presented by Jolene Sound Room Miami, the event is open to guests 21 and older.

French-American producer Sweely is known for live, hardware-driven performances that move between house, electro and minimal-leaning club music. His releases on labels such as Distant Hawaii, Lobster Theremin and Concrete Music reflect a wide musical background spanning jazz, rock, hip-hop and world music.

Tomas Station brings a house-focused sound shaped by his upbringing between Bogotá and Chicago, formal training on piano and drums and years spent in underground dance music scenes in Colombia, New York and beyond. His work as a producer, label cofounder, curator and DJ connects deep house, vinyl culture and transnational club influences.

Located beneath the Julia & Henry building in Downtown Miami, Jolene Sound Room is an intimate basement venue inspired by midcentury recording studios and 1970s lounge culture. The space is programmed around disco, house and techno, with a focus on Miami’s local music community and visiting selectors.
