Swing Night

Live swing music and dance instruction bring a jazz-age atmosphere to the Art Deco Museum in Miami Beach. Swing Night takes place Friday, July 17, as part of the South Beach Jazz Summer Series. Presented by Power Access, the South Beach Jazz Festival and the Miami Design Preservation League, the evening combines performance, dancing and community programming in the heart of the Art Deco Historic District.

The program features the French Horn Swing Collective with Shira Lee and Wendel Morrison, along with swing dance instruction from 4X World Champion Yuval Hod and Jazzy Juls, who will also serve as MC and DJ. The format is designed for both experienced dancers and newcomers, with live music and guided movement throughout the evening.

Admission is free with RSVP. The South Beach Jazz Festival is organized by Power Access, the nonprofit behind the annual festival, with support from Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami Beach cultural affairs programs.
