May 15, 2026
Starting: 7:00 PM
Latin jazz, gypsy jazz, chanson and gospel come together in a cross-cultural concert led by Vincent Raffard of The French Horn Collective. Tequila: An Experience of Rhythm, Identity, and Soul takes place Friday, May 15 at Sanctuary of the Arts in Coral Gables. Produced by Pro Arte, Inc. and The French Horn Collective, the performance is inspired by the group’s 2026 album Tequila.
Raffard, a Paris-born multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and founder of The French Horn Collective, leads the ensemble on guitar, trumpet and vocals. The group is known for blending gypsy jazz, traditional jazz, French standards, original compositions and hot swing, with Raffard joined by international musicians and vocalists in flexible ensemble formats.
The lineup includes Argentinian clarinetist Osvaldo Lichtenzveig, Cuban vocalist and flutist Magela Herrera, Mexican singer and percussionist Fabio Patiño, American gospel and blues singer Wendell Morrison, Spanish guitarist Michel Gonzalez and Venezuelan bassist Elvis Martinez. Cuban actress and singer Souldra appears as a local guest artist, adding another voice to a program shaped by rhythm, improvisation, heritage and musical exchange.
