The Art of Impact
Jun 05, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
A fundraising event centered on street art and Caribbean culture brings live painting, music and community storytelling to the Museum of Graffiti. Taking place Friday, June 5, the evening marks the start of Caribbean American Heritage Month with a program that highlights the role of public art in community development. The event supports mural initiatives in neighborhoods across Kingston, Jamaica.
Organized in partnership with the Tivoli Murals Project and the international street art collective Meeting of Styles, the fundraiser contributes to ongoing efforts in Tivoli Gardens, Trench Town and Denham Town. These projects bring together local and international artists to create large-scale murals that reflect themes of resilience, identity and cultural heritage, with proceeds supporting future installations and programming.
The evening features live graffiti art, Caribbean food and cocktails, DJ sets and appearances by artists and community leaders, including a performance by Ky-Mani Marley. Through its combination of art, music and dialogue, the event offers insight into how creative expression can shape and support communities beyond the gallery space.
