Live jazz, drag performance and community celebration come together for a one-night event that blends music and self-expression in honor of Pride Month. Featuring a lineup of genre-fluid bands, an open drag competition and a late-night jam session, this event invites guests to experience the intersection of queer creativity and boundary-pushing sound.
The Jazz Junt: Drag Tag Competition takes place Tuesday, June 17 at Dear Eleanor in Wynwood. The evening begins with a communal drum circle, followed by live performances spanning jazz, funk and soul. At 10:00 p.m., the spotlight turns to an open-call drag contest highlighting makeup artistry, stage presence and local impact. Each performer will have up to six minutes, with a $200 cash prize and full Tarte makeup set awarded to the winner.
Additional highlights include local vendors, flash tattoos and a closing open jam session. This is an 18+ event with no alcohol or drugs permitted. Entry details are available via direct message.
