The University of Miami Center for Global Black Studies presents Theorizing Blackness: Histories, Movements and Ethics of Care on Friday, May 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science on Key Biscayne.
This day-long event coincides with the 70th anniversary of Brown vs. Board of Education. It will explore the legacies of racial segregation in Miami, particularly in education, labor and leisure spaces.
