Thunderbox III

Underground electronic music and experimental sounds take over a late-night warehouse gathering at The Boombox Miami.

Scheduled for Friday, March 13, Thunderbox III features Los Angeles-based experimental electronic musician Baseck, whose work draws from decades of involvement in the city’s underground rave culture dating back to the mid-1990s. Known for blending breakcore, bass music and glitch-heavy electronic textures, Baseck has released music on labels such as Sonic Terror and consistently performs at experimental club and festival events across the U.S. and internationally.

Held at The Boombox Miami, an industrial venue known locally as “The Box,” the space regularly hosts alternative concerts, DJ sets and multimedia events that spotlight emerging artists working outside the mainstream club circuit. The warehouse-style venue, recognized for its graffiti-covered walls and intimate stage setup, serves as a hub for Miami’s underground music and DIY arts community.
