A crime drama with elements of romance and suspense opens the Miami Film Festival at the Olympia Theater. Tuner screens Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Directed by Academy Award winner Daniel Roher in his narrative feature debut, the film stars Leo Woodall as a talented piano tuner whose heightened sense of hearing draws him into unexpected and dangerous work. As his skills are exploited for illicit purposes, he is pulled deeper into a high-stakes world that threatens both his future and personal relationships.
Presented as a Florida premiere, Tuner blends thriller, romance and character-driven storytelling in a film that has been featured at major festivals including Telluride, Toronto and Sundance.
