Viva Brazil

Brazilian cinema and live music share the stage at the Miami Beach Bandshell during an outdoor screening followed by a concert led by singer-songwriter Maurício Baia. The program begins Saturday, September 5, at 6:30 p.m. as part of the annual Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival, marking the Miami festival’s 30th edition.

The evening opens with Pedro Antônio’s comedy Very Special Agents. Remarks from Inffinito’s directors and a Culturalista open call follow the screening before Baia takes the stage at 9 p.m. with Lívia Casel, João Brasil and DNA band members Rafa Ducell and Pedro Abdala.

Based in Rio de Janeiro, Baia blends Brazilian musical traditions with contemporary rock and pop across original songs and interpretations of familiar works. The concert serves as the festival’s anniversary celebration, extending its focus on Brazilian filmmaking into a broader showcase of the country’s music and culture.
