Seasonal beauty and contemporary movement merge in this dynamic evening of dance that welcomes winter with elegance and energy.
Presented by Dance NOW! Miami, Winter’s Breath will be performed on Friday, December 19 at the Sanctuary of the Arts. Created in 2015, the signature ballet is set to Antonio Vivaldi’s music reimagined by Max Richter, pairing crisp, flowing choreography with an evocative score that captures the essence of winter’s stillness and intensity.
The program also features Isadora Duncan’s classic Ave Maria from the 1920s and other holiday-inspired works. Adding to the evening, Jon Lehrer Dance Company of New York joins as a special guest, bringing its distinctive blend of athleticism, power and grace to this celebration of dance and the season.
