Witch + Jacuzzi Boys

Zamrock pioneers W.I.T.C.H. bring psychedelic guitars, traditional African rhythms and the restless spirit of Zambia’s 1970s rock movement to ZeyZey Miami. The concert takes place Tuesday, September 15, at 7 p.m. on the Zaku Stage in Little Haiti, with Miami garage-rock trio Jacuzzi Boys opening the evening.

Short for We Intend to Cause Havoc, W.I.T.C.H. emerged after Zambia’s independence and helped define Zamrock through a blend of Western psychedelia, funk and regional musical traditions. Led once again by original vocalist Emmanuel “Jagari” Chanda, the band returned to recording with Zango in 2023 and followed it with Sogolo in 2025.

Formed in Miami in 2007, Jacuzzi Boys complement the lineup with fuzzed-out guitars, lo-fi textures and melodic garage rock. Their catalog includes the 2009 debut No Seasons and later releases through Hardly Art and the band’s Mag Mag label.
