Miami EcoAdventures offers a refreshing way to experience nature in Miami-Dade County. We provide hands-on naturalist-led excursions that help you disconnect from everyday hustle and reconnect with South Florida’s ever-changing landscape. Whether you’re planning a family day outdoors, a memorable group experience, or a team-building event, our programs are designed for nature lovers, explorers, and first-timers alike—with small groups that keep the experience personal and engaging.

Our programming is rooted in Miami-Dade County parks and centered at our five featured nature centers:

Programming at all five the nature centers is available September–May, and June–August at Crandon Park Nature Center.

Choose from popular excursions including Sunset Boast Cruise, kayaking and snorkeling options (sunrise, sunset, bayside, oceanside, and Matheson Mangroves), canoeing the Oleta River, guided nature hikes, birding walks, butterfly walks, night hikes, campfire programming, seasonal camps, homeschool enrichment, toddler programming, educational field trips/outreaches, scout programming, and corporate team-building. Public excursions are typically 2 hours on weekends, while private and education programming is available mainly during the week with flexible durations based on your chosen topic. Private programs are available with group sizes tailored to your plans and the time of year, with at least 10 business days notice for private programming requests.

Add to your experience with on-site options like our daily kayak and canoe rentals at Bill Sadowski Park, featuring safety vests, paddles, and kayak seat rests. We also offer facility rentals year-round, including picnic shelter and campfire ring rentals.

Make your nature day even easier with Miami EcoAdventures rental options offered across our five nature-center locations. Whether you’re planning a family outing, a group gathering, or a park day that feels calm, simple, and memorable, our facilities help you get outside and settle in. At select locations, we provide daily kayak and canoe rentals at Bill Sadowski Park, designed for comfort and safety. Kayak rentals are standalone and include a safety vest, paddles, and seat rest—so you can arrive ready to explore. We also offer facility rentals year-round, including: Picnic shelter rentals for group meals and shaded get-togethers Campfire ring rentals for a cozy, nature-connected evening Open space rentals for gatherings and activities in the park setting Our rental availability can vary by nature center, and we provide clear meeting details so your group knows exactly where to go.
